Mercy Street - choreography by Bob Boross, music by Herbie Hancock

The sweet melody and ominous undertones of this music worked well my observations of the political battles waged in university faculty meetings. I put them all together in this piece about dominant personalities, cattiness, and the desire by some to destroy the weaker and different personality.

First presented at UC Irvine in 2001, then also in NYC, Jazz Dance LA, and Stephens College in Missouri.
