"I Am" - choreography by Bob Boross, music by Yanni, dancer - Heather Castillo

This piece began as a class project for the UCI Jazz Dance Ensemble, and eventually became a solo performed in front of a projection of a star filled night sky. It has been presented in Los Angeles, New York, Cypress CA, and Columbia MO.

This piece is strongly influenced by the freestyle technique that melds jazz, ballet, and other dance forms in order to express a unique human desire - that we are all as infinite as the universe, and the human body is capable of anything!
